Jeremy Samuel
Jeremy A. Samuel is the founder and Managing Director of Anacacia Capital. He is responsible for the overall management of the firm including fund raising and origination, assessing and adding value to investment opportunities.
Jeremy is a Non-Executive Director of Anacacia Capital portfolio companies: Appen, a global leader in language services; Norwest Productions, a leading professional audio service firm; Lomb Scientific, a distributor of leading brands to scientific laboratories; and Home Appliances, a leading supplier of affordable quality cooking appliances. 

Jeremy has led investments into family and privately held small-medium enterprises (SMEs) across a range of industries including in services, manufacturing and distribution.  Jeremy is the Chairman of Anacacia's investment committee.  He is the former Chairman of ANZ's private equity management committee and was previously a strategy consultant with Booz & Company where he advised corporate Boards, CEOs and private equity firms.  

Jeremy holds an MBA from the Yale University School of Management where he focused on private equity, entrepreneurial finance and venture capital.  He also holds both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law degrees from the University of New South Wales.  He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and writes and speaks regularly on private equity and SMEs.
